How to add a link in your TikTok bio
Check your account's website-link eligibility, add your address through Profile → Edit profile → Links, and test how it opens for visitors.
Check eligibility first
TikTok's current website-link guidance lists two routes: at least 1,000 followers, or a Verified Business Account. Its account-type guide calls Personal accounts General TikTok Accounts and gives them the same follower threshold. Availability can vary by market and account.
Business verification is separate from receiving a blue checkmark. Changing account type alone does not guarantee a website link. Review business-verification requirements before taking that route. TikTok also says Verified Business Accounts use the Commercial Music Library and do not have access to its general music library.
Add your website link
- Confirm that your account has website-link access. TikTok documents at least 1,000 followers or a Verified Business Account, with availability depending on account and market.
- Copy the full public HTTPS address you want to share. For NexLink, publish your page first and copy its bio.nexl.ink address.
- In the TikTok mobile app, tap Profile at the bottom, then Edit profile.
- Next to Links, tap Add and follow the prompts to link your website. Use the website-link option available to your account.
- Complete the save or confirmation prompts shown in your app and return to your profile.
- Open the saved link from your profile, then test your main destination buttons. Check any prompt to open the page in your device browser.
If the website-link option is missing
Check your follower count and account's verification status against TikTok's current guidance. Inspect Edit profile → Links → Add rather than relying on older instructions for a separate Website field. If the option is still unavailable, use TikTok's help tools to diagnose your account. A NexLink page cannot unlock an unavailable profile feature.
Test the complete visitor journey
- Open your public TikTok profile and tap the saved link.
- Confirm that the page name and main action match what your video promised.
- Tap the first destination and complete any browser-opening prompt. Check that the shop, booking page or release loads.
- Recheck after changing a destination or publishing a scheduled offer.
TikTok opens profile links in its in-app browser. Its help page explains that safety measures on external link chains may prompt visitors to open a page in their device browser. Test your profile link, the page it opens, and the next action such as checkout or booking. Avoid unnecessary redirect chains.
TikTok recommends direct links so visitors can reach their destination in a few steps. If you have one main offer, consider linking straight to it. If you need a hub for several destinations, a link in bio page gives them a shared address. Keep your primary action near the top.
Use NexLink when you need a shared page
NexLink's Free plan currently includes up to two sites, 50 links per page and seven days of reporting with analytics export. Link to your existing shop, newsletter form or calendar. Purchases and bookings happen in the services you link to.
Scheduling and visitor breakdowns are currently included on Free.Pro adds branding removal, unlimited sites and longer history. Referrer information can be absent in browsers, so reporting cannot identify the source of every visit or the TikTok user who clicked. Compare page visits with destination clicks as separate measures.
